Amber Smith is the Press Secretary for the Trump Caucus Operations Team for the GOP Convention. Smith served most recently as a senior military advisor at Concerned Veterans for America. A combat veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, she was a U.S. Army Kiowa Warrior helicopter pilot-in-command and air mission commander in the 101st Airborne Division, Smith is a combat veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Smith is the author of Danger Close: My Epic Journey as a Combat Helicopter Pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan, which will be released September 6th, 2016.
