Join WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE on Sunday January 31, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. EST for an open-mike discussion; Ta'aleem (Islamic studies) on Al-Fatihah using the new book, Commentary on Qur’an by Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

Imam W. Deen Mohammed instructed us to make 7 (seven) distinct stops when reciting Al-Fatihah, the opening chapter of The Qur'an. These seven stops require the uniting ayats (verses) 2 and 3 as one ayat (verse) and the making of ayat (verse) seven into two ayats.

We look forward to your participation in this ta'aleem discussion. If you have a copy of this book we will focus on pages 24-25 and 46-47 as well as Sura 15:87 which speak about "Mathani". وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ "And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an."
