This Saturday on Behind the Blue Curtain we are going to talk about politics in policing and political influence.  Should officers wear masks that  endorse a candidate while on duty and in uniform.  Should political buttons, stickers and decals be allowed in the workplace and should officers speak at political rallies while in uniform?  We will also discuss Police Unions and their endorsements of political candidates without giving dues paying members a voice in the process.  Our Guest will be Dr. Heidi Nicholls, Visiting Professor at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Dr. Nicholls teaches Cultural Anthropology and is a Co-Advisor to the Intertribal Student Organization.  If you would like to join the conversation the number is (646) 716-4621, do not forget to press 1 on your phone so I know you would like to chime in.  Please be mindful of your background noise.
