You we are all looking for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. We always hear stories of this happening. Recently there was one where a person bought a box of old black and white photos at a pawn shop for $2. Going through the photos one stood out. It was an authenticated picture of Billy the Kid, which is now up for auction, valued at $5-million. For a UFO researcher, the pot of gold would be something that can confirm the research or existence of extraterrestrial contact.
That's exactly what happened to Rob Mercer from the Miami Valley UFO Society. While doing a UFO search on Craigslist (because of his location and what may have been collected by locals over the years), he came across a guy selling a box of files he had found under a pile of lumber he bought at an auction.
Rob purchased the box and tracked down the original owner, it turns out he was an officer assigned to Project Blue Book at Wright-Patterson and didn't realize that he had left them behind when he moved. What was in those boxes? How about the Holy Grail of U.S. Government research. Project Blue Book. The gentleman has since given Rob the rest of his collection. So tonight, we learn, on Spaced Out Radio, Rob's findings into one of the most secretive and compelling researches by the U.S. Government.
