Deborah Lockhart is a small business owner who lives in New York. For over six years, she has been a full-time caregiver to her 87-year-old mother. This entails arranging for medical insurance and prescription drug coverage, selecting healthcare providers and specialists, obtaining long-term care and relevant services such as home health care, transportation to medical appointments, durable goods, personal response systems and ambulatory aids. Her heart’s desire is to make it possible for other seniors to receive the same support that she has given to her mother.
