It's a weekly tradition, #OverReactionMonday. What are we overreacting about to start the new week?
Atlanta United won 3-1 yesterday at the Benz over Columbus. Josef Martinez has now tied the all-time record in MLS for goals in a single season, with eight games left to play. Tito Villalba scored a goal that will go down in history as one of the best at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Miguel Almiron capped off the scoring with a well-worked team goal, including assists from Villalba and Martinez.
Thanks to results around the league, Atlanta has a three point lead in the Supporters' Shield race going into (insert sponsor here) Rivalry Week.
Thanks for listening!
