Originally built i 1917 for the tobacco industry, it now hosts special events and is a unique destination that also offers gourmet catering service.
A Prizing House was a location used by the tobacco companies many years ago to bundle tobacco leaves. This process occured after the curing of the leaves and the grading. The 'prizing' was a pressing of the tobacco leaves into large bundles called Hogsheads.
Nell Anne Gossett and her husband are the current owners of The Prizing House and Slick interviews her about this special location.
