As the former Mayor of Opa-Locka, Dr. Taylor has decades of leadership experience. As a public figure, she advocated for small businesses, senior citizens and enhanced youth services.  Dr. Taylor is also a noted business leader who established Vankara Educational Center, a five+ acre full-service educational campus. As a ministry leader, her accomplishments are no less stellar. She founded The New Beginning Embassy of Praise, along with her husband, and is an experienced and ordained Elder, Bible Study Instructor, and Spiritual Advisor.
