Join Cassandra Mack, M.S., Founder of Strategies For Empowered Living and the Creator of the "Grab a Girlfriend and Go" movement and the women of SISTAH CHAT as we delve into the dynamics of dealing with Cattie Women. According to Cassandra, "One of the biggest indicators of a woman who is insecure within herself is unprovoked cattiness. When you are catty to another woman from the gate who you do not know or who has never done anything to you personally, you are revealing your insecurity. Whether you are catty by way of psychological jabs, insults that you try to mask as jokes, or worse.... using scripture to cut a woman down rather than build her up, if you are catty without provocation, you are hating because you are insecure at the core. To my beautiful, intelligent sisters who embrace and uplift other women.... know that when catty women pull out their claws and come for you without provocation, you don't have to lose your cool, get shook or intimidated ...just know that some cats are sensitive to light and that's why they can't stand to see you shine and they cannot tolerate your illuminating presence. While every woman has a little feline in her, it's important to keep in mind that before you gear up to tear another woman to shreds who has never done anything to you personally.....just remember that claws were made for protection and not provocation. This is what separates the lioness from the alley cat....while an alley cat will claw another cat on sight just for the heck of it, a true lioness not only embraces other lionesses but will also show love to the younger female cubs. Shine on my beautiful sisters who don't do catty for no reason. Love your life and live your dreams."
