Most of us are accustomed to people having traditional pets such as cats and dogs. People don't even bat an eye regarding hamsters or ferrets as pets; but most people would raise an eyebrow at the thought of pet parenting a cow, pig, chicken, or sheep. Why? Because these animals are typically thought of only in the capacity of their usefulness, (such as being a source of food, milk, or clothing). It's interesting to note however, that many of these animals are raised strictly for companionship and are loved in the same way as typical housepets. In this episode of The Missy Show, we explore the unique bond between farm animals and the pet parents who love them. Join us Saturday, March 19th at 5:00pm Central.
