Sandy Parker is Chief Encouragement Officer of Lighten UP Global and Founder of the Lighten UP Movement. 
A seasoned, smart, funny funny and courageous woman, Sandy is a teacher, speaker, workshop facilitator, marketing whiz, modern day muse, and author. 
Her passion is helping women discover what "lights them up" and guide them to take action steps to live life on their terms.

Her recent book LUMI FINDS HER LIGHT - being published by Balboa Press, division of Hay House - is a story about a lightening bug who can't figure out how to lighten up. 
Lumi doesn't like being dim, compares herself to others, feels she doesn't belong, tries too hard, gets frustrated and wants to give up.  Then "curiosity" captures her attention
and in the process of living she stumbles onto her "brilliance."   LUMI FINDS HER LIGHT will also be available as an app for ios and android devices.

Prior to Lighten UP Global, Sandy enjoyed a career in media and magazines, married and became a mother at 40, managed
a chamber of commerce, developed a jewelry line, managed an art studio and created workshops where women become rock stars! 
She has a depth of experience in public, nonprofit, church and corporate environments.
