During my pregnancy, I often wondered if I’d get all of the items I needed to take care of my baby. Although I have a very supportive family & I worked 2 jobs, I was nervous as to if I would be able to afford childcare, diapers, wipes, formula, baby clothes, & baby food.
On 4/8/18, during my second trimester, Madison Renée Mason passed during delivery due to complications during pregnancy. I had received a few gifts during pregnancy that I was saving for Madison’s arrival. I had no idea what I was going to do with the items I had since I had no plans of getting pregnant any time soon. So, on 11/28/18, I decided I wanted to give back to the community in a positive way to assist me with my healing process. I created J.Mason Foundation to honor her and carry the legacy on.
