Megachurch pastors Rick Warren, Bishop TD Jakes, and Joel Osteen strongly endorse the firm, and I’ll share some of my highlights -- and lowlights -- of the movie. The good news is there are at least seven major epic Biblical pictures scheduled to come to a theater near you over the next two years, including a movie about Noah starring Russell Crowe and two movies about Moses, one directed by Steven Spielberg and the other Ridley Scott.   Mainstream awareness and interest in faith-based movie projects are at an all-time high. What does it all mean? Let’s discuss! Also, I’ll provide my thoughts on the recent International Pastors and Leaders Conference, conceived and hosted by Bishop Jakes, which I attended. Is attending a weekly worship service necessary for a strong spiritual walk? Let’s discuss! Also, I’ll provide my thoughts on the snakebite death of a Kentucky Pastor who taught that handling snakes is a biblical command.  Freedom of religion is awesome, but bad theology kills – literally. Yet some say it is ok because they are married. In fact, some argue that the performance shows us how sexy Christian marriage can be. Meanwhile Christian artist Natalie Grant left before the Grammy’s ended, so she missed the mass wedding of 33 couples – some same sex, some not – that ended the broadcast. Christian artist Mandisa, who won two Grammys that night, said she didn’t attend the ceremony because she wanted to avoid the temptation to be "of the world." Is there a place for Christians at the Grammy Awards? Also in this episode, we’re discussing the amazing testimony of gospel artist Fred Hammond who was kind to two teen boys and 20 years later they blessed him TREMENDOUSLY! We’ll discuss what happened. That statistic has led some to ask whether the downward trend for marriage signals the end of marriage all together. Also, in this episode we are discussing “A Year Without God,” the story of a former Pastor who has decided to give atheism a try for one year.  What does a year without God look like? And why would a Christian even want to find out?
