THE DEPOPULATION BOMB WITH KEVIN GALALAE

There are a lot of paranoid speculations about a coming age of rapid depopulation as a result of a global conspiracy, Unfortunately, in dismissing these claims most people fail to acknowledge that absent a radical change from our current course, a massive die off of humans is all but inevitable. 

Global climate change places an upper limit on how long we have to stop the madness of the current world system and find a way to save humanity from itself. If large segements are going to have to move away from islands and shorelines, where will they go? How will we feed the refugees in the face of severe water shortages and crop failures from unpredictable droughts and storms? Who will control the food supply? What about the inevitable pandemics from living in these conditions?

And what kind of civilization will we have? It is hard to imagine that this will not lead to draconian methods of government control of a restive world population.
