KASHMIR AND THE FUTURE WITH ZOLTAN ISTVAN

Kashmir is a perfect model for world conflict. It is decades long and rooted in imperialism. It is maintained by religious differences and the ability of ruling parties and foreign interests to keep its people divided. International corporations that profit from a deeply unjust economic and political system manipulate governments and their militaries to preserve their power and increase wealth of a small class of international economic elite.

Understanding the historical roots and the way the current situation has developed is essential to understanding how to end the wars that it epitomizes. Few are better qualified than Zoltan Istvan, a journalist, documentary producer and author who covered the conflict for years beginning in 2002.  We also talked about his visionary novel of a just future society, The Transhumanist Wager. 

On November 16, SFPI Radio explored this problem and the elements of a solution that involves the creation of a united international front against fascism and war at the grassroots level.
