The US government has finally come out and admitted that it intends to attack Syria regardless of circumstances unless Assad submits to their demands and steps down.  It is time that the antiwar community establishes its own red line in Syria: Recognizing that Syria is just one battle in a larger war against national self-determination, we will not accept defeat even if we cannot stop this latest crime against humanity.  

Kerry's lies have become so confusing that he contradicts himself one day to the next, yet most Americans cannot seem to recognize that the same old WMD argument is being used in an even more transparent manner than during the Cheney regime.

Peace is an essential prerequesite to freedom. None of us are free while we allow those in power to enslave others. That is why it is the duty of Soldiers For Peace to build a united international front against fascism and war at the grassroots level.
