Jim Douglass wrote in JFK and the Unspeakable of truth that "too few are willing to see (because most of us are) too eager to be reconciled to the world at any price." If we do not have the courage to speak the truth, JFK will have died for nothing and those who killed him will continue to control the US government.

There are many unanswered questions about 9/11 that are dismissed as "paranoid" and evidence of "conspiracy theories," as if Iran-Contra, the set up in Iraq and other crimes of the US government were not. How many of those who think so realize that the House Select Committee on Assassinations stated JFK appeared to have been killed in a conspiracy that the Warren Commission did not investigate?

Peace is not possible without democracy in the US. Democracy is not possible without transparency. We must not only be prepared to accept the truth; we must make others listen.
