Conspiracy theories are popular among those who understand that the American dream is becoming a nightmare. It is natural to wonder if there is collusion among these corporate elites to direct events behind the scenes to enable them to fool all of the People most of the time. After all, those in power benefit by deceiving us.

Many Americans are openly stating that they believe there is a massive conspiracy by the global elite to impose a one-world socialist government on an unsuspecting people. Others maintain that there is a conspiracy to impose a permanent New World Order with power shared among the global elite, under the guise of a manufactured war on terror.

Both are ridiculed in the corporate media and their voices silenced by the power of government.

If a conspiracy is defined as an effort by those in power to promote their own interests, there need not be a dark cabal of conspirators who are directing a plot for world domination.
It is only a matter of shortsighted self-interest that is causing the economy to self-destruct while potential catastrophes are being ignored  in Congress.

To evaluate these contending claims of conspiracy it is necessary to understand the nature of power in the US and internationally. On Friday October 19th on Taking Back America we discussed the nature of power in the world today, how it is being used to promote the interests of the few, and what we can do about it.

This show will be rebroadcast on Saturday, October 20 at 12 pM CST on Star Com Radio network.

Take Back America for the People is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to reveal to the American public the true costs of corporate control of the US government.
