Our guest on Saturday, January 7 was Jeffrey Rupp, a thinking conservative who helped me model how to constructively engage with people of differing political philosophies but a common interest in working together to establish a functioning democracy in America and thereby peace in the world.

Jeff is a recovering addict who is now a  substance abuse counselor.
He has written a fascinating book about his life that will give interested listeners a perspective on how he came to form his political and personal world view: http://www.amazon.com/Hi-Name-Jeff-Alcoholic-ebook/dp/B00655M9Z8

After talking about the book and letting listeners know Jeff and I a little better, we discussed the crisis in health care costs and access from our differing perspectives. Though Jeff and I agree that we don't like to be pigeonholed, most listeners would probably label Jeff a conservative Libertarian and me a liberal Libertarian, to paraphrase Noam Chomsky.

We had a fascinating conversation between friends about what we have in common and how we can work together to establish a government of, by and for the People of the United States and together solve the crushing problems that Congress continues to worsen.

SFPI Radio is the international talk show designed to allow those struggling for social justice around the world to talk to each other about how we can support efforts to promote justice, democracy and peace in every nation.
