Jonathan “JJ” Greenway is the former president of Avemco and chief pilot for AOPA, and now is now a Capitol Hill advisor on Aviation Matters.
Jonathan “JJ” Greenway has flown over 14,000 hours since his teens. He was a corporate pilot in the South Pacific before becoming a Captain and Check Airman on the Boeing 767 for American Airlines. Later, he served as Director of Safety for the AOPA Air Safety Institute. An active CFI for over 30 years, JJ still shares his passion for aviation by flying and instructing in his Bellanca Decathlon.
