When the Blood Runs Warm Four beautiful, smart, country, and broken young ladies found a family in each other. Dahlia, Liberty, Shevelle and Kamdyn have a bond like no other. They will protect each other at all costs. An unforseen enemy plans to attack the glue of the family and their wills are tested.

Facing their own personal demons, they will find help along the way in a few old faces as well as new.

Dahlia is in love with the woman of her dreams, who has shown her nothing but love and affection. Even though everything may seem perfect the people closest to her don't accept her lifestyle. Dahlia's heart is torn between who is good to her and who is good for her. Dahlia has no idea that danger is lurking right around the corner.

Liberty has always done what is best for Liberty. Raised in the most traditional and biblical way Liberty doesn't know how to embrace Dahlia who has come out the closet in a very public way

Shevelle never wanted to be the group drunk. But waking up one day to find her husband bound, gagged, tortured and dead on the back porch was enough to send her into the mental hospital. One night on the town she finally finds the catalyst for change all wrapped up in sultry muscle; her eighth grade crush, Evan.

Kamdyn is the youngest of the family. She's ambitious, driven, smart, and sassy.
She'll do anything for her new bonded family.

Together these four women will join hands and join forces to do what has to be done to save each other. In the end love always wins. This is proven when the blood runs warm. It shows that you have time to fix anything, including life after disappointment…..
