Jon Stewart is a former professional musician who enjoyed success in the 1990s with eight hit singles and three hit albums in the UK. He's now a senior lecturer on the history of popular culture and popular music.  Jon was introduced to AA in Los Angeles in 1999, and got sober in London in the Summer of 2000.  After fourteen years of grateful recovery

, including much service and sponsorship activity in AA, he quit the fellowship when he reclaimed his atheistic worldview.
