Author Speaker Maura Sweeney

When it comes to self leadership, happiness and an authentic life, Maura Sweeney has taken the journey.As a child, Maura dreamed of traveling the world, making friends and sharing ideas to inspire the best in society. Instead, she often felt isolated, sad and outwardly patterned rather than inwardly free. Groomed by parents for a career in law, Maura realized by age 23 that her body could no longer support someone else’s design for her future. While attending law school, she couldn’t lift herself off a chair one day to attend classes. Though light in build, the increasing weight of a secondary body, like a false corpse of herself, weighed down her spirit as well as her frame. Exiting law school mid-stream, Maura set out to pioneer her own path to passion and self-determination. Finding her initial passion in executive recruitment, Maura later enjoyed a decorated corporate management career and a few years time as a home schooling mom. Finally, with her daughter college bound, Maura set out to make a global mark in her own right.
