Klein who is the Director of the Jewish Studies Program, Director of the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genetic Studies Program -- there are only three in the country -- and Professor of History at Kean University in Union, N.J. Mr. Klein and I met in a very unusual way and I look forward to speaking with him on the show. He is the author of Survivor Transitional Narratives of Nazi-Era Destruction: The Second Liberation and the author and editor of these books:Jewish Origins of the Psychoanalytic Movement ,Hidden History of the Kovno Ghetto, The Genocidal Mind , Societies Emerging from Conflict: The Aftermath of Atrocity. He is also the author of:Memory, Narrative, and Forgiveness and Jean Améry and the Philosophy of Torture . In addition he is the founding director of the Anti-Defamation League's Braun Center for Holocaust Studies and the founding editor of Dimensions:A Journal of Holocaust Studies. He received the Fulbright-Hays Fellowship and many other awards.
As you can see this will be a very unusual show and one I think will shed some light on events that are happening today. You won't want to miss this so listen on the archives if you can't catch it live. As always your questions are welcomed. The call in number is on the show page.
