He is credited with being the oldest living legend that is still actively touring and performing live in gospel music today. Rev. Thomas J. Spann is 94 years blessed! He is the founder and lead singer of the internationally recognized legendary group, The Brooklyn Allstars, and his iconic bass voice can be heard in some of their biggest hits like "Let Me Lean On You" and "When I Stood On The Banks of Jordan" and "He Touched Me." This multi-award winning, two-time gold album group got its start in 1950, and nearly SEVENTY years later, they are still going strong!
This week on ROYAL PEN NETWORK, Rev. Spann will share the mic with our host, national bestselling author KENDRA NORMAN to talk about the journey of The Brooklyn Allstars, the inspiration behind their soul-stirring songs, and what has kept them encouraged and moving forward in ministry for all these years.
