Today, we will be talking to author, reviewer and freelance writer, Mayra Calvani. Mayra writes fiction and nonfiction for children and adults. Her book, The Slippery Art of Book Reviewing (co-authored with Anne K. Edwards), is a ForeWord Best Book of the Year Award winner and currently required reading at four universities. A member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Mayra is blog editor for the Belgian Chapter and co-editor of Voice in the Dark newsletter. She reviews for the New York Journal of Books and SimplyCharly.com. She lives in Belgium. She’s represented by Mansion Street Literary. Listen in Monday at 1pm.
