Shadowed Past; Have you ever felt isolated and alone? Are you a people pleaser, responsible for other people and how they feel? Have you ever judged yourself harshly? Do you identify yourself as a victim? This is exactly what will happen if your dysfunctional past shapes your future. Do not allow your past to haunt your present. The emotional scars you carry into your adult life can inhibit your ability to move forward. When in this state of mind life seems so unfair, the hurt seems so real, the sadness clouds any potential for clarity and insight. A negative view of life seems the norm as you assume the role of the victim. It can be impossible to recognize any strength within you. Every time you recall your past, you give it life again.
