Reiki Programs in Hospitals, with Miri Klements and Tammy Schoolcraft

Miri Klements and Tammy Schoolcraft teamed up in 2016 based on their mutual passion for providing Reiki to patients dealing with healthcare challenges. Shortly after, they received an invitation to offer Reiki to staff at one of the local hospitals in the Atrium Healthcare System in Charlotte, North Carolina.  

In early 2017, they were asked to participate in a Pilot Study for ‘Alternatives to Opiates for Pain Management in Orthopedic Trauma Patients’. When that completed, they went on to offer Reiki to patients in the children’s hospital Pediatric Rehab Unit.   

In April 2018 they found their new home at the Levine Pediatric Cancer, Blood Disorders and Bone Marrow Transplant Clinics and the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, where they currently offer Reiki to patients, staff and family. They have provided over 1,500 Reiki sessions to these children since they started there sixteen months ago. http://www.ReikiForWellness.org
