• Clay Helton's 2018 recruiting class is suddenly starting to come together following a flurry of commitments. USC received four in a three-day span from Saturday to Monday, and six in the 10 days since losing out on the commitment of five-star quarterback Matt Corral.
• The Trojans extended a scholarship offer to No. 1 dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields over the weekend. Should the coaching staff go all-in on Fields, target a project and/or look full steam ahead to the 2019 class?
• Andy Enfield's USC basketball team wouldn't be outdone, getting a big four-star commitment of their own on Monday.
