Her federal civilian experience includes conducting training needs assessments, curriculum development, strategic planning and federal budget formulation and execution.   Prior to her civilian Federal employment, Dr. Bradford was an active duty member of the US Air Force, culminating in her assignment as Director, Strategic Planning and Policy at Joint Interagency Task Force West. She retired from the Air Force in 2000 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.   As an independent consultant, Dr. Bradford taught Strategic Planning for Mid-Level Supervisors at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Arnold Schwarzenegger's office announced Thursday that it would accept the parole request of Flozelle Woodmore, who has been imprisoned for almost two decades for killing her abusive former boyfriend, Clifton Morrow, in Los Angeles. On hearing of the governor's decision, Woodmore called Ruth Garland Dewson, owner of a stylish San Francisco hat shop, who asked the town's powerful and connected folks to help free Flozelle. "She was crying, saying, 'I am so scared' ... she wanted me to come and get her," Dewson said of Woodmore. "I told her: 'You don't have anything to worry about, honey. We're going to go in a limo. A long one.' " Woodmore had spent the past few years preparing for life after prison, even lining up a job and a place to stay.
