It's another week and the Australian Government continues to talk up a war in the Middle East despite polls saying people are against it. There remains serious problems for Abbott's first Budget and with less confidence in the market.
It's hard to say that their international diplomatic efforts are any better. With missteps and wild rhetoric the real order of the day Australia's two major parties have signed the country up to another war without any end in sight or an exit plan. And all of it will comes with a massive price tag - yet there's no money for education and healthcare; or to care for our most vulnerable people.
And then there's the mandatory data retention regime.
