"Has the Church become so intimidated by political correctness that we fear to mention hell as a reality? Or the hopelesss condition of those who die outside of salvation in Jesus Christ?" asks missionary radio host Rev. Greg Fisher.
Christian missionary pioneer C.T. Studd is quoted as saying, "Some wish to live within the sound
of Church or Chapel bell;
I want to run a Rescue Shop
within a yard of hell." What has become of that kind of vision and conviction?What has become of that kind of militant Christian vision and conviction? This is the question Greg and Margaret Fisher are asking this Sunday evening on Second Half Christians with Greg and Margaret. This innovative Christian talk radio show will stream live at 7:00 PM (MOUNTAIN) on Sunday 7th of November.
"Has the Church become so intimidated by political correctness that we fear to mention hell as a reality? Or the hopelesss condition of those who die outside of salvation in Jesus Christ?" asks Greg Fisher, the program's founder and host. "We are committed to doing what George McCleod wrote in his his famous poem, "I am recovering the claim that Jesus was not crucified in a cathedral between two candles: But on a cross between two thieves; on a town garbage heap" says Fisher. The ministry of Jesus Christ was not contained in religious buildings--nor was it a message acceptable to the religious leaders of the day. "That is why we are bringing the message of the Christian Good News to the internet" says Margaret Fisher, the show's co-host. During the 90 minutes of the internet streaming radio program Greg and Margaret Fisher interact with people who call in with questions and comments about Christianity.
