Anna Walz founded Medisys Health Communications in 1999 to provide strategic healthcare communications through collaboration with industry partners, physicians, teaching institutions, and medical associations. Today, true to Anna's original vision, Medisys Health supports pharma, biopharma, and medical device partners with data-driven strategies for use across the professional communications spectrum. She then spent eight years in medical education, directing, managing, editing, and producing medical education programs in a variety of therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, CNS disorders, pain management, dermatology, women's health, and infectious diseases. She gained invaluable experience and played a pivotal role in obtaining industry funding to develop programs sponsored by organizations such as the National Institutes of Health (i.e., NIDDK, NIMH, and NIAID) and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Today, Anna's hands-on ethos and team-building expertise drives Medisys Health's ongoing success. She continues to play an active role in developing and managing strategic initiatives in immunology, dermatology and CNS, and in helping partners plan and support scientific communications objectives.
