The Race for RNC National Committeeman

We knew the race for National Committeewoman was already at the contentious point, with both Audrey Scott and Nicolee Ambrose running for this post.  Now, a new contender has entered and it's not a girl.  Scott Shaffer of Anne Arundel County, is looking to challenge incumbent, Louis Pope. 

Join us as we talk with Scott about, not only why he wants to run, but what he wants to do if he wins. 

Later in the program, we'll be joined by Richard Cross, a political blogger who has been following the race quite closely. 

We'll also touch base with Kristin in Annapolis to find out what's been going on down there.  I'm sure she'll have a mouthful.

The vote happens at the MDGOP Convention April 28-29, and though the election is restricted to the votes of the State Central Committee members, the people who win will have a great impact on our party from both a state and national level.
