Jonathan Weyer is the author of the recently-released novel, The Faithful, which the Midwest Review of Books calls “a stunning debut novel.” The novel follows the story of a minister’s crisis of faith as told through a ghost story.

Conflicted with his faith in God and the hypocrisy of the church, Aidan, an assistant pastor, is already a spiritual battleground. When he learns that his ex-fiancee was murdered in a possibly demonic ritual, he finds himself catapulted into an even deeper fight. Tormented by demonic threats and haunted spirits in the afterlife, Aidan becomes a medium that will hold the key to solving this murder mystery. As Catholic priests, paranormal investigators and rogue law enforcement seek Aidan out, readers both secular and religious will find that the Faithful tears at the emotions and doubts of humankind.

Jonathan also has just completed a nonfiction book about his time working with atheists at The Ohio State University. Together with the atheists, Jonathan won a Multicultural Award from the university for their joint discussion groups on campus. His work with atheists groups prompted the Secular Student Alliance to add him to their speaker’s bureau, the only Christian minister to have this distinction.

Jonathan is also an editorial contributor to TAPS Paranormal Magazine. He works for the CCO as the Staff Director for the state of Ohio and lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife and three kids.
