Michael J Baker - Paranormal Investigator and Filmmaker

In late 2003, on the heels of two aspiring careers in both the music/video entertainment and electronics R&D industries, Michael Baker’s interests took a mysterious twist when he began to research historical and popular accounts of paranormal activity, an interest spawned from his own personal, and unexplainable experiences as child growing up in Arlington, Massachusetts.

By 2006 Michael co-founded New Gravity Media a privately funded independent film company and began writing; directing and producing the full length feature film "14 Degrees - A Paranormal Documentary".

Over recent years, Michael’s expertise and involvement in the paranormal field has flourished. He has worked with, instructed and consulted for dozens of paranormal teams and investigators across the U.S. and has become a nationally recognized authority on the technology used in paranormal research, evidence analysis and scientific investigation techniques.

Since 2006 Michael has been a member in good standing of the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena. He is founder of The New England Center for Advancement of Paranormal Science (necaps.org.) as - well as The National Registry of Paranormal Investigators.

Michael has appeared as a paranormal researcher on the SyFy’s Channel's hit TV show "Ghost Hunters" as well as FearNet's on demand miniseries "Streets of Fear".
