Never go to a battle unprepared

Have you ever told your children to do something but you didn't know how to or didn't take time to prepare them by showing them the ins & outs of what your teachings are? I know I have and I've got so upset with my children cause I was wondering why aren't they getting this rite well first by me being their guardian I must teach them and live it before I can speak it cause God never will tell you to do anything without preparing you for something He already fought through
