The Women's Voices Project initially grew out of a desire to find out more about the indigenous prophesy that states there won't be peace on earth until the voices of women are heard. Since the book "Women's Voices: The Wisdom of the Grandmothers" was published in 2010, the project has grown in scope and content. We completed  a documentary film  "The Wisdom of the Grandmothers " that includes women from the farthest North in Siberia to the farthest South in Patagonia, Argentina.  Alaska Public Television is currently airing  the documentary to local public broadcasting stations throughout the country . And we are raising funds to both develop a "what's next" curriculum and outreach program and to help complete the expanded interviews and make them available on this site and on our blog http://www.womensvoicesproject.tumblr.com.
