Celebrating Women's History Month

Today for WHM we will highlight the contributions of 21 phenominal black women and their contributions to history and contemporary society. Celebrated during March in the United States, the UK and Australia.It traces it's beginnings back to  International Women's Day in 1911. Laura X organized a march in Berkeley, CA on International Womens Day in 1969. It went from International Womens Day to International Womens Week on Mar 2-8 in 1980. In 1987 it became International Womens Month.
