It wasn't too long ago that Creflo Dollar came under intense scrutiny when his church organization created a fund to garner millions of dollars for a plane. This struck a lot of non-believers as a form of excess that has, not surprisingly, become synonymous with Western Christianity.
There is an alarming trend in today's Westernized version of Christianity to see 'comfort' wrapped up in the storing up and accumulation of the material world.
