What a show Phil Friedman Outdoors Radio has for you today as we are fresh back from Baja and the one and only Rosarito Beach Hotel.Don’t forget, there is a magnificent Mariachi Festival starting Wednesday, October 2 and running through the weekend at the Rosarito Beach Hotel. It will be a SHOW TO REMEMBER with all proceeds to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Rosarito Beach. I am proud to call Rosy Torres my friend for putting on such a great event as well as congratulate here on the magnificent work she continues to do with the Youth there. Details on attending at www.RosaritoBeachHotel.com.
You’ll hear from Mark Rayor and Jen Wren Sportfishing about some incredible fishing in Baja’s East Cape. Billfish, dorado, wahoo, tuna and more in the best season Rayor has seen in the 27 years he has been there.
Sergio Susarrey joins us with a great Ensenada update. Yellowtail and dorado continue to prowl the kelps just offshore with lots of tuna nearby too. Great rockfishing along with a few big yellowtail near Todos Santos Island too.
Westly Brough joins us from Pisces Fleet in Cabo San Lucas with the offshore and surf report. Very good fishing has been the rule at Land’s End and inquiring minds want to know if it’s continuing.
Awesome dorado fishing continues as Jonathan Roldan joins us with the Tailhunter International La Pa Paz update as only Jonathan can do. Learn what other species are making their presence felt in the area too.
Local guide for Baja California Norte, Arturo Martinez from Baja de Fun Tours has some great information about the Baja Wine Country, the best places to golf, great places to dine and more on today’s show. The segment was taped yesterday in the lobby of the Rosarito Beach Hotel.
