“A Life built around Music” may be the best way to sum up Sue K Riley.

With her rich contralto voice, Sue’s music will wrap around you like a favorite blanket, and hold you safe.  She is also very funny and this is reflected in her songwriting.

Sue believes in the power of music to touch hearts and heal lives, and she loves to share her passion for music through a wide variety of means.

Sue is the Vice President of Empower Music and Arts, which is dedicated to “Changing the World, One Song at a Time”.  EmPower hosts the yearly “emPower Posi Awards” in Orlando, Fl, which recognizes excellence in songwriting for artists who create songs with messages of peace, interfaith, and joyous living.  The Festival is now in its 9 year.

As one of the leaders in the genre of “Posi” Music (standing for Posi-Tive Music ), Sue tours the country performing in the PosiPalooza Concerts along with Richard Mekdeci and great artists such as Karen Drucker, Harold Payne, Faith Rivers, Daniel Nahmod, Megon McDonough, Tom Kimmel, and many others.

A prolific singer-songwriter, Sue has created 6 CDs of original, award winning, uplifting positive music.  She recently received a Gold Medal for her song “Grandpa’s Hands” and a Silver Medal for “Teach Me to Pray” from the Songwriters Association of Washington, DC..( www.saw.org).  Both songs are from her CD “When Everything Changes, I Can Change Too” produced by Daniel Nahmod.

She is currently finishing her 7 CD “I Choose Love” also being produced by Daniel Nahmod.  This CD is also full of co-written songs with artists such as Harold Payne, Jana Stanfield, Karen Taylor Good, and Faith Rivera and is expected to be released in early March, 2013
