New Pathway To Healing: An Interview With Megon McDonough

Megon McDonough has been a New Thought Student for over 20 years. Being introduced to Unity by her mom (the most Spiritual person she knows) through The Daily Word. She started her study of metaphysics when she was a very young hippie growing up in beautiful Crystal Lake IL where she has come full circle,( lived in LA and NY and now lives in Northfield, IL) & was the music director for Unity Church of Crystal Lake for 2 years. 

When she was 17 she ran away from home with her mothers permission) to Los Angeles for a career in the music business,  She recorded 4 LP’s (remember those?) for Wooden Nickel Records/RCA and toured with legendary folk great, John Denver, opening for him is such prestigious venue’s as The Cellar Door, Carnegie Hall and The Greek Theater.

She has released many CD’s, toured nationally & internationally.  Most recently her CD 4+1 – Music Inspired by The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz, has received rave reviews, and her song, (written with Jana Stanfield) Amazing Things from that disc is being played in Siberia!  She dreams of hearing it a little closer to home. It has been recorded by the USO Band!

She has also recorded an album called Quiet Powers in Sound based on Charles Fillmore’s book “The 12 Powers of Man”

Megon has been studying to be a Religious Science Practitioner and graduated Aug 22^nd (2009)
