Kay Sgarlata Nov. 22 The Class of '60 reawakens the memories of the twelve million Americans born in the early 1940s, coming of age in the '50s, and graduating from high school in the JFK era. This unique memoir, representative of 'Anytown USA', unravels these classmates' lives to present; their experiences in marriage, raising children and struggling to put them through college, divorce, careers, the civil rights movement, health concerns and the technological explosion. If you long to recall a time of innocence and relive the experiences of the last half of the 20th Century, read The Class of '60 and you are there. Born in Syracuse, New York, Kay grew up in the town of Camillus, attended West Genesee High School, and returned to her hometown after college to start her teaching career. Kay is proud to be the unofficial historian for her fellow classmates and has amassed notebooks filled with the clippings of their weddings, achievements and honors. Today's internet has allowed her to stay in touch with almost half of the surviving members of the 224-member graduating class. For more info, go to Kay's Web page at http://kaybenedictsgarlata.com/
