Talking this evening about anger with Sabra Desai and Maria Barcelo

Talking this evening about anger from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, with Maria Barcelos Director of the Gatehouse, and Sabra Desai Counsellor, Therapist and Educator. 

Sabra Desai, Director, MSW, RSW, Kellogg Fellow, counsellor therapist & educator.  A former faculty in the School of Social & Community Serv.s, Manager of Community Partnership at Humber College. Sabra has provided leadership in the areas of inclusive education & access to post-secondary education for marginalized & vulnerable populations including Aboriginal youth. Sabra laid the foundation for the Humber College Centre of Human Rights, Equity & Diversity as well as initiating the Aboriginal Student Resource Centre. In the 1980s, Sabra worked with a group of women to advocate for a shelter for women & children survivors of family violence which led to the establishment of Interim Place, the first such shelter in Peel Region.
