Michael’s real estate career began in 1976 at 12 years old. He decided to try his hand at residential and commercial investment properties and did quite well. In 1986 his wife and he, and a silent partner founded what became one of the most advanced mortgage consulting firms in California. Combining my sales, marketing, loan, and programming experience they were able to build a formidable mortgage company that captured the high-end of the market without advertising. Michael became Mr. Internet, the CEO of Russer Communications and creator of the entire curriculum for the CLICKS to CLOSES and ePRODUCTIVITY courses within the program. He is the leading speaker and author in the real estate industry about doing business on the Internet and the use of Virtual.

Even the success of that business left him sensing that something was "missing." He threw myself into the inquiry of finding his purpose with an even greater focus than he had shown in any of his previous businesses. At the end of that two-year period, after much hard work it became clear to him that he had arrived. His mission was to help a great number of people through his speaking and writing.

In September of 2011 Michael began a personal transformation that included a diagnosis of prostate cancer, radical prostatectomy, follow up intensive radiation treatments and full blown impotence. Everything came to a halt. He discovered a deep emotional connection with himself and life was no accident. The only way forward was to find a new language and a new life with an open heart.
