Stephen Tako is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, a SAG-AFTRA Actor, Los Angeles Movie Awards Show Host, Motivational Speaker, Author and Anti-Bullying Advocate.

As the host of his talk show “Tako Talk”, Stephen has interviewed guests who shared inspirational stories to inspire adults and children who have been negatively impacted by bullying.

Author of the book "Motivated to Act" (pub. Enchanted Forest Press 2012), Stephen teaches people to live more rewarding lives and how to heal from past negative experiences. As a trained Neuro-linguistic Practitioner (NLP), Stephen has walked on fire and has implemented his training to inspire others to have a positive mental focus.

One of Stephen’s most ambitious projects is the development of his character Junga the Dancing Yeti. This fictional character deals with bullying and discrimination issues because of his looks. The first Junga book (ages 4-7) was published in June 2018 by Confident Life Enterprises, LLC. Two more Junga Yeti books are currently slated for the series.

As an actor and voice-over artist, Stephen has acted in films, television and commercials including suicide prevention and anti-bullying public service announcements. He had the opportunity to work on the famous “yellow brick road” as one of the wicked witch’s guards in “Oz, the Great and Powerful” and played the father of a Jewish girl from Poland caught in the horrors of the Holocaust in the film “There is Many Like Us”.

He lives in San Diego, CA
