• The Hitting Stops Here! reaches out to the NAACP and other Civil Rights organizations for support in ending US school beatings. The primary targets for this maltreatment are black and brown school children. Listen to an account written by an American school teacher boasting about her choice to ignore school policy for a fight on campus. Ms. Debra describes how she beat the "meanest" and largest black American girl in her school, while excusing the white American girl for their being in a "cat fight." No due process for the incident was given. The paddle was held with both hands, which is illegal in US schools, as a paddle is deemed a "lethal weapon" when applied to the recipient’s body under the power of both hands. The teacher's actions led to "double jeopardy" for the "mean black girl" when she took away the young lady's opportunity to receive a basketball scholarship as added on punishment for the same crime. To date, “Ms. Debra” has been free from any punitive action for her blatent disobedience to her school’s rules which states that all participants of a school fight must be beaten.
