Got dirty laundry? Most of us do, but we all have a choice as to how we are going to take care of it.  You know what we are talking about.  It is that stuff you air on Facebook and Twitter when you are really annoyed with someone.  Getting online and sharing our thoughts has become an active part of most of our daily lives.  We might momentarily feel better after venting our anger and frustration about that certain someone who is driving us crazy and we absolutely love it when others chime in and agree with us, however, we are doing a lot of damage to our relationships when we air our dirty laundry.

As easy as it is to get on social networks like Facebook and make a comment to get things off our chests, we need to realize that once it is out there, we are actually inflicting pain onto someone else and damaging the relationship we have with that person.  Even if we remove our post or comment from the internet, it’s already too late because someone has already seen it the instant it was posted.  Once you put it out there, you can never really take it back.

Join us for VOW Talk Radio, as we talk about the effect that social networks can have on our relationships. We will tackle this subject and talk about the right and wrong places to vent our frustrations and how to use social networking to build positive relationships with our veteran, our family members, and our friends.
