Prayer Vigil In Memory Of Cordea J. Leyva Sat Oct.15,2011

Hello to all we will be live on the city streets were Cordea Levya was murderer...Guess Speaker Camiella Williams very close friend of Cordea Levya... R.I.P  On Sunday, October 17, 2010 24 year old Cordea J. Leyva was shot and killed around 3:30pm on 3200 W. 78th Street as he walked home from a local store. Witnesses says he was approached from behind by two males and then shot several times. 1 year later no one has been arrested and charged with his senseless murder. In his honor family, friends and Anti - Violence community groups will be honoring his memory by hosting a prayer vigil and passing out flyer to let the community know that he has not been forgotten and that there is still a 5,000 reward for anyone who comes forth with vital information leading up to the arrest of his murderer.

 

Before Cordea's premature death he was a employee at Nissan Dealership on Western Ave. He was full of life and enjoyed life!! Cordea was a young man who had so much potential and wanted to accomplish so much in life! He loved helping and changing young people for the better. Cordea will be missed.
